That Date Was Great™ LLC (“That Date Was Great™”) is a professional matchmaking service based in North Carolina, offering personalized introductions and thoughtfully curated dating experiences for individuals seeking a genuine connections.

Acceptance of Terms

By becoming a Client or Member of That Date Was Great™, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by our Privacy Policy. Together, these documents form the full Agreement between you and That Date Was Great™.

We may revise or update this Agreement from time to time. Changes may occur due to legal requirements, improvements to our services, or adjustments to business practices. If any modification substantially affects your rights or obligations, we will notify you through reasonable means such as email.

By continuing to use our services after any updates, you agree to the revised terms. This Agreement replaces all prior understandings or contracts between you and That Date Was Great.

Eligibility

To use the matchmaking services offered by That Date Was Great, you must be at least 18 years old.

Client Expectations & Conduct

Honesty, privacy, and respect are essential components of the experience we provide. That Date Was Great™ is committed to delivering a high-quality, personal service and relies on the integrity of our Clients and Members.

By participating in our services, you confirm that you:

  • Are single or legally separated;
  • Have provided accurate, complete, and truthful information;
  • Are sincerely seeking a committed relationship;
  • Have no criminal convictions;
  • Are not employed by, consulting for, or affiliated with any matchmaking or dating service.

You agree to refrain from:

  • Damaging the reputation of That Date Was Great™ or the reputation of any Client or Member;
  • Making negative, defamatory, or disparaging comments (verbally or in writing) about That Date Was Great™, our services, or any Client/Member;
  • Sharing confidential information with any third party;
  • Contacting a Client, Member, or employee who has stated they do not wish to receive further communication;
  • Engaging in abusive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate behavior;
  • Interfering with others’ enjoyment of That Date Was Great™ services;
  • Impersonating any individual;
  • Using That Date Was Great™ services to promote your own products, services, or commercial interests;
  • Submitting photos or materials that infringe on another person’s intellectual property rights.

That Date Was Great™ may terminate your membership immediately, remove your information, and prevent future access to the service if:

  • You provide false or misleading information;
  • You violate any portion of this Agreement.

That Date Was Great™ reserves all legal rights and remedies.

 

Services Provided

  • That Date Was Great™ will make reasonable efforts to identify suitable matches and may share portions of your profile or biography with potential matches.
  • You agree to respond to communication from That Date Was Great™ within seven days.
  • You will update That Date Was Great™ promptly if your relationship status, financial status, or professional status changes.
  • You may end your membership at any time by contacting us directly.

Limitation of Liability

You acknowledge that all information you submit to That Date Was Great™ is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

That Date Was Great™ may conduct limited online verification but does not run criminal background checks or guarantee information provided by other Clients or Members.

You understand and agree that:

  • That Date Was Great™ cannot guarantee the success of introductions or future relationships;
  • We cannot predict or control the behavior, decisions, or actions of other Clients or Members;
  • You are solely responsible for your interactions with any match;
  • Meetings should take place in public settings, and you should never disclose sensitive financial information or send money to another Client or Member.

That Date Was Great™ is not responsible for disputes between Clients or Members.

To the extent allowed by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless That Date Was Great™, its owners, employees, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the services or your violation of this Agreement.

 

 

Confidentiality & Data Protection

You consent to That Date Was Great™ storing and processing your personal information for the purposes of providing matchmaking services, communicating with you, and fulfilling legal or accounting obligations.

We use appropriate security measures to protect your data. More information is available in our Privacy Policy.

All Clients and Members must maintain strict confidentiality regarding:

  • Personal information shared or received;
  • Details about matches, dates, or interactions;
  • The matchmaking process or services provided by That Date Was Great™.

Information obtained through That Date Was Great™ may not be used for unlawful, harmful, or inappropriate purposes.

Violation of confidentiality may result in immediate termination and possible legal action.

General Provisions

That Date Was Great™ retains all rights to its intellectual property, including website content, materials, branding, and service documentation. No content may be used, replicated, or distributed for commercial purposes.

Failure by either party to enforce any part of this Agreement does not waive any rights.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, and any disputes will be handled exclusively in the courts of that state.
